The Empathy Club is a special organization dedicated to helping others. Sometimes students experience rough, hurtful times, and if we are there for others during that time to listen, we can help them make it through. The group is sponsored by the Guidance Department at GCHS and is founded on the idea that teens listen to and talk to other teens much more readily than adults. As a member, students receive training in communication, decision-making skills, information on major problems, use of local resources, and awareness of their limit as helpers.
